Here’s a chalk pastel piece I did of my friend Andrew at the Dallas Zoo. I didn’t really like it until I added the map background. That was my “yes!” moment.

Prepping for Prom
A couple years ago, my mom and grandma drove me and a couple of my friends to our church camp. On the way, we stopped by this really cool Sonic with retro phones. My mom took pictures of my friends Lindy and Lacy ordering their food. I changed the pictures up a little bit and made it a prom story.
The girls are colored pencil, and the background is in watercolor pencil.
