Hi, my name is Isabel. I’m an aspiring…everything.
Currently, I’m learning how to be a music writer. I freelance for the Dallas Observer. I’ve interviewed Tyra Banks, Josh Groban, Pentatonix, and more. And reviewed Ed Sheeran concerts and taken photos of Shawn Mendes. I’ve also been published in Modern Luxury Dallas and Modern Luxury Dallas Weddings, as well as my school paper, The Daily Campus.
I will graduate in December with Journalism and Fashion Media majors, as well as a minor in graphic design.
I’ve found that the best way to learn how to do what I want to do is to do it. I’ve been enjoying a dive-right-in mindset in pursing my dreams, hustling hard at all of my passions.
But I’m also learning to be a person. Let’s be honest, I’ve never been one before. I’m in my early 20’s finding that life is crazy and strange and I want to document it, whether that be in stories I write for publication, stories for I write for fun and put on here, or even music, photos and art.
